Photo Inventory Sets
The following photo collection is the work of Robert F. Streul, a local photographer of La Salle County points of interest. Each photo remains the copyrighted property of the photographer. The collection has been entitled "inventory" because it was intended to provide a visual and detailed catalogue of:
- the furnishings acquired by the Reddick Mansion Association to reconstruct the environment in which the Reddick family lived
- the exterior views from various windows found in the mansion
- the construction techniques used in the mansion
All posted photos have had the original digital resolution reduced. Visitors to this website who are interested in obtaining high resolution copies of any of these photos should contact the photographer, himself, via email at rfsphoto@att.net
The photos in Mr. Streul's inventory are, in many instances, photos of items that have a provenance which is of historical interest. Where possible, that provenance is described. Such descriptions are quoted from a report posted elsewhere on this website.
